How to Apply for CSC 2026? (The 3-Step Process)

The application process for the “University Track” (Type B) is the most common and simplest method.

Step 1: Find a University & Apply to CSC Portal

First, visit the official CSC online application portal (link below). Create an account, fill out the form, and select the “Category B” application type. You will need the “Agency Number” of the university you want to apply to (you can find this on Google).

Step 2: Apply to the University Portal

After submitting the CSC form, download it. Then, go to the official website of your chosen Chinese university and submit their online admission application as well, uploading the CSC form along with other documents.

Step 3: Pay Application Fee (If any)

Some universities require an application fee (usually 400-800 RMB), while many are free to apply. Check the university website for details.
