Key Requirements for Eligibility (Strict Criteria)

The SISGP is highly selective. You must meet these key requirements:

  2. University Admission: You must be admitted (or conditionally admitted) to one of the eligible English-taught Master’s programs at a Swedish university by the day of admissions announcements (March 26, 2026).
  3. Work Experience: You must have a minimum amount of documented work and/or leadership experience.
  4. Tuition Fee Liability: You must be liable to pay tuition fees to Swedish universities (i.e., be a non-EU/EEA citizen).

How to Apply: The Two-Part Centralized Process (Crucial Timing!)

The application is centralized through Sweden’s University Admissions system and the SI portal, requiring strict timing:

Step 1: Apply for Master’s Programmes (October 15, 2025 – January 15, 2026)

  • You must apply for up to 4 eligible Master’s programs through the centralized portal UniversityAdmissions.se by the January 15, 2026, deadline.
  • You must also pay the application fee for university admissions on time.
  • Action Now: Applicants should be working on their university applications in December 2025 to meet the January 15 deadline.

Step 2: Apply for the SI Scholarship (February 9, 2026 – February 25, 2026)

  • After the university admission deadline, the scholarship application opens for a short period.
  • Documents required: You must use SI’s provided templates for proof of work and leadership experience and submit two letters of reference.
